I’m so excited to introduce the Pedestal Table. The base is our updated take on Eero Saarinen’s tulip table, which he designed in the mid-1950s. Instead of being made from molded fiberglass or cast aluminum, our base is made from solid wood. We create the base by systemically gluing up larger blocks of wood until we have mimicked the rough form. From there, the base is carefully hand-turned and sanded on our lathe, creating a unique and elegant shape. The round top features a heavy bevel on the underside, matching the contours of the base.

The table works well in smaller settings like a kitchen or reading nook but can also work as a smaller dining table, comfortably seating two, three, or four.

Shown in Black Walnut (38” diameter) and Claro Walnut (42” diameter), but we can customize this to fit your space and needs.
